Place the valve in the semi-open position, flush and remove any hazardous substances that may be present inside and outside the valve body, close the ball valve, remove the connecting bolts and nuts on both sides of the flange, and then completely remove the valve from the pipeline. Disassemble the drive device in sequence—actuator, connecting bracket, lock washer, stem nut, butterfly spring, gram, wear plate, stem packing.

Remove the valve cover connecting bolts and nuts, separate the valve cover from the valve body, and remove the valve cover gasket. Ensure the ball valve is in the "closed" position. This makes it easier to remove it from the valve body, then remove the valve seat. Gently push the stem down from the valve body hole until it is completely removed, then remove the O-ring and the lower stem packing. But be careful not to scratch the stem surface and the sealing part of the valve body packing gland.

2. Reassembly

Clean and inspect the disassembled parts. It is strongly recommended to replace the valve seat and valve cover gasket with a spare parts kit. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Use the specified torque to cross-tighten the flange connecting bolts. Tighten the stem nut to the specified torque.

After installing the actuator, input the corresponding signal to drive the valve core to rotate by rotating the stem, so that the valve opens and closes. If possible, conduct pressure sealing tests and performance tests on the valve according to relevant standards before reinstalling the pipeline.
