Quality built with ingenuity - Congratulations to SUMING Company on its prime-time broadcast on CCTV's "Quality" program

On the morning of September 24th, all employees of Suming Company arrived early at the third-floor meeting room, eagerly awaiting the program. At 9:45 am, CCTV's Discovery Channel's "Quality" program began airing. The elegant and friendly CCTV host, Li Yufei, appeared on screen, her calm delivery captivating the audience as they watched the 15-minute documentary. The film documented the company's decades of development; it showcased the hardships of the chairman leading all employees in entrepreneurship and innovation; it shared the abundant fruits of their labor; and it summarized the twists and turns and hardships experienced by the company in product research and development, design, production, and service—a microcosm of a path of continuous exploration and entrepreneurial innovation. After watching, the employees were deeply moved, their minds still filled with the events of those 15 minutes.
The "Quality" program focused on Suming people, represented by Chairman Su Jinfang, who, from the very beginning of the factory, firmly established "integrity as the foundation, quality as the cornerstone" as the factory's philosophy and the value orientation for product production, consistently applied throughout the brand, product positioning, and the entire enterprise management process. The program documented his journey from a small workshop to a company with assets exceeding 100 million; how he transformed a small valve assembly, from manual assembly to fully automated assembly lines, from manual measurement to the establishment of a testing center—each step reflecting the hard work and sweat of Suming people, embodying their ardent hopes. His resolute determination to create an independent export brand is highlighted. He represents the ordinary craftsman, returning to the product with meticulous attention to detail, embodying the spirit of craftsmanship. For decades, he has focused on valve production, pursuing product excellence, striving to design and produce valves as works of art. This is a testament to professional ethics and responsibility, a dedication to focus and rigor, persistence and perseverance, integrity and meticulousness, and a reflection of personal character. It showcases his unwavering perseverance, diligent virtues, and thoughtful approach to life, realizing and carrying on the original intention of the spirit of craftsmanship. It is this belief and ideal that has created today's Suming Company, and it is this spirit of craftsmanship that has forged the quality of its products.
After watching the "Quality" program, department managers shared their thoughts and work attitudes. The production department manager stated: "The broadcast of the "Quality" program is both an affirmation of our product quality and an encouragement and spur. It will urge us to be even more stringent in our future production processes, product appearance, and precision, striving for excellence, ensuring that every product leaving the factory is a masterpiece, and gaining consumer recognition for Suming valves." Following this, the quality department manager expressed that attitude and detail determine everything in work; a person's work attitude reflects their life attitude. Only by working wholeheartedly can one do things well and create more value for the company. Quality is the foundation of the enterprise; therefore, we will strictly control every step in our future work and resolutely prevent substandard products from leaving the factory.
Great craftsmen are full of human beauty. I am reminded of the Godzilla brothers in the works of Galsworthy. These brothers were shoemakers who spoke of shoemaking as a craft, holding it in awe. They selected fine leather and hand-stitched each pair of shoes, stitching their souls into every stitch. This is the craftsman, completely immersed in their craft, viewing their creations as extensions of themselves. Of course, our company also has craftsmen who have focused on valve manufacturing for nearly 30 years. It is their existence that has enabled Suming valves to achieve excellence, allowing them to enter the international market, exported to Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa, and receiving high praise.
All our efforts are for better future development. The broadcast of the "Quality" program will continue to encourage us to provide consumers with better quality, conscientious, and reliable products. Suming people will shoulder the responsibility of craftsmen.
