Pneumatic valves have a greater actuating torque than electric valves. The opening and closing speed of pneumatic valves is adjustable. They have a simple structure and are easy to maintain. Due to the inherent cushioning properties of gas, they are not easily damaged by jamming during operation. They require a pneumatic source, and their control system is more complex than that of electric valves.
Pneumatic valves are sensitive and reliable. Many factories with high control requirements have set up compressed air stations for pneumatic instrument control components. Electricity is electricity.
The function of a pneumatic valve positioner is to receive the output signal from the pneumatic regulator and then generate a pneumatic signal proportional to the regulator's output signal to control the pneumatic control valve.
There are many types of pneumatic valve positioners. According to their working principle, they can be divided into two main categories: displacement balance type and force (torque) balance type.
