On the morning of September 24th, the management team of Suming Company arrived early at the third-floor meeting room to await the program's broadcast. At 9:45 am, the CCTV Discovery Channel's "Quality" program arrived as scheduled. Everyone enthusiastically watched the 15-minute documentary's wonderful presentation. This showcased the company's decades of development; it bore witness to the chairman's entrepreneurial hardships; it shared the abundant fruits of their labor. It is a microcosm of the company's development history, its essence condensed. After watching, employees remained deeply moved, still immersed in those 15 minutes, the images lingering in their minds.
Recalling the company's journey, recalling the entire process from selection to being chosen for the "Quality" program, those scenes appeared one by one in our minds. I remember the chairman's excitement upon receiving the "Quality" program's interview notice, his elation after passing the Hangzhou interview, followed by the on-site investigation by Zhejiang media, the submission of authentic qualification materials, and the subsequent visit by the CCTV "Quality" program team for in-depth investigation. Suming Company stood out among many peers, leading to the decision to sign a reporting cooperation agreement.
The "Quality" program is the country's first large-scale television documentary focusing on product quality and brand building. It uses vivid footage to showcase facts. For this 15-minute documentary, the "Quality" program's editorial staff worked tirelessly. The footage started in Yiwu's bustling small commodities market, capturing the vibrant market scene in the rain, and conducting repeated interviews and screenings at Suming Company's Yiwu general agent. Then, the scene shifted to Yuhuan, the "valve capital," featuring an interview with Chairman Su Jinfa and in-depth shots of the factory. It explored the journey from a small workshop to a company with over 100 million in sales, showcasing customer recognition of Suming products and the endorsement from leaders of the provincial valve industry association. A full week of filming and editing was required to produce this 15-minute piece, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
All efforts are for better sailing in the future. Suming Company is constantly trying and improving, from the original instrument lathe to the current water-jet special machine, from manual assembly to the current fully automatic assembly special machine, from manual measurement to the establishment of the testing center. Step by step, it carries the hard work and sweat of Suming people, embodying their ardent hopes. The broadcast of the "Quality" program will spur us to better improve quality. We believe that through everyone's concerted efforts, collaborative progress, and pioneering spirit, the company's future development will surely be bright.
